Centre Director Coorparoo
Hi, I’m Allin Sheehan

Let me introduce myself…
My name is Allin Sheehan and I am the Centre Manager here at Coorparoo. Starting with the completion of my Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood from QUT, I have devoted more than 20 years to working with young children and their families. I am passionate and committed to creating a strong educational program where families’ values, solid foundational skills and play with a purpose are always in focus.
Why I’m passionate about early childhood education?
I love working with young children, I want to inspire and make a difference in their lives. Experiences in the early years shape a child’s understanding of themself and the world around them. I committed myself to furthering the education and growth of all children in my care, since my career started. To always work in partnerships with families and build a strong sense of belonging in every child.
What I love about Harmony Coorparoo?
The unwavering support Harmony Coorparoo receives from our families is astounding. And you just can’t beat seeing those bright, shining children’s faces greet me each day, so full of hope and curiosity! I love their excitement as they eagerly share news and information about their lives. But most of all, I enjoy the cuddles they generously share with you.
A few of my favourite things
- Favourite colours – Red
- Favourite animal and why? – I relate well to dolphins, quite a gentle animal with an inner strength. Dolphins works well in a team and have an ability to find their way. Their playful nature is a reminder everyone needs to approach life with humour and joy.
- What I find funny? I love how babies never censor their joy. When they laugh, it’s with their whole body. Seeing this always makes me laugh and puts me in a good mood.
