My name is Karen Walters and I am the Centre Director for Harmony Varsity Lakes. I have been working in the Early Childhood Education sector for over 20 years. I have an Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services, Diploma of Management and an Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management.

I am also the proud mum of 3 wonderful, adult children.

I am passionate about providing children with an environment that is safe and secure where they can become that best version of themselves possible. Every child is a unique individual that should be supported holistically through their early years journey which will set them up for success. I am also passionate about ensuring that all educators are supported and mentored to become the best they can be as they are the future of our sector. I like to believe that I inspire children, families and educators and make a difference in their lives.

I have been with the Centre since we opened the doors in 2020 and I am extremely proud of the environment we have built, the team that we have created, and the family relationships formed. We are part of a large family community network that proudly supports each other and is a home away from home.
