How long do I have to decide if I would like to accept a position?

When a position is available the Enrolment Officer will email you an enrolment pack to complete. You will have 48 hours to complete and return your enrolment pack with supporting documentation. If we do not hear from you within this time we will follow up with a phone call however if we are not able to contact you, the hold on your position will be removed.

What will I need to provide in order to secure my enrolment?

Enclosed in your enrolment pack you will find all the information you need to start your journey with Harmony. It includes key information about our fee schedule, childcare benefits/rebates and method of payment. There are several important documents in this pack that we ask you to complete and return to confirm your enrolment.

All About Me
Ezidebit Form
Copy of Birth Certificate
Copy of Immunisation History Statement from ACIR
Confirmation of child’s Centrelink CRN
Copy of parents driver’s license
Action plan for asthma, anaphylaxis and/or allergic reaction if applicable

We understand that gathering all of this information can be difficult and so recommend that families have these documents ready well ahead of time to ensure the 48 hour time frame from offering is met.

Is there a minimum number of days required for enrolment?

Yes, we recommend a minimum of 2 days as we believe your child will benefit from building strong trusting relationships with their educators and peers and settle in more quickly the more frequently they attend.

Am I able to claim the Government rebates if I enrol with Harmony ELJ?

Yes, to aid in the payment of childcare fees, the Department of Human Services has provided access to Child Care Subsidy (CCS) for eligible families. Parents, please note it is your responsibility to apply for the CCS with the Family Assistance Office on 136 150. Once CCS is approved, you will need to provide the Centre with your Customer Reference Number (CRN) and date of birth (DOB) along with your child’s CRN and DOB so a formal enrolment can be made. Your subsidy will then be subtracted from the full fees owing, leaving a gap fee which is the amount families pay to the Centre, meaning less out of pocket expense.

2 weeks written notice.

Can I transfer from one Harmony centre to another?

Yes. Please express your interest of transfer to our Centre Manager who can query the availability within another Harmony Centre.

Will my child move rooms when they have a birthday?

Transitions into another studio are decided based on several factors. This is a collaborative decision to ensure it is the best time for the child and they are ready to venture onto more challenges and experiences. There will usually be a general move to the next studio as your child becomes older at the beginning of each school year but this will be thoroughly communicated prior to the transition.

What are your fees?

Each Harmony centre has a different fee structure which can be found on your selected centre’s page.

What is included in the daily fee?

Freshly Cooked Nutritious Meals
Nappies & Wipes
Linen
Variety of Extra Curricular activities and experiences

How do I pay my weekly fees?

All fees are to be paid via Debit Success weekly. At enrolment we will supply you with a direct debit form and you can elect to pay your weekly fees by credit card or direct debit. You can change your billing details at any time by notifying your Centre Manager. The initial amount will include an advance payment of one week’s full fee. We understand that this may be a new process for some families however I am certain that you will appreciate the convenience of automatic payments.

Do I have to pay for public holidays?

Yes you will have to pay for public holidays because we have everyday costs that take place including educators wages that still need to be paid whether we are open or not. Some early childhood services offer free public holidays but absorb their running costs into their fees making their daily rate higher. This may mean that you are paying for public holidays even if your child is not enrolled on a public holiday.

Why do my fees sometimes fluctuate from week to week?

Due to the data we receive from Centrelink and the Department of Human Services sometimes amounts fluctuate in regards to your Child Care Subsidy dependent on your eligibility. This is triggered by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) which we unfortunately have no control over. We are always happy to answer your questions as best as we can.
