HARMONY Springfield

Early learning tailored to your child.

We take a holistic approach to your child’s early learning and development. Beyond our evidence-based curriculum is a team of dedicated educators eager to provide a nurturing environment that inspires.

Harmony educators believe that alongside traditional literacy and numeracy skills, children should be supported in developing life skills and emotional intelligence attributes to become successful learners and community members.

Infants begin to absorb the wonder and complexity of the world around them. They are naturally curious explorers as they observe, listen, investigate and learn.

At Harmony, we’re committed to providing our youngest children with a safe and stimulating environment for their holistic growth, development and sense of belonging, supported by our specialist educators.

Our early childhood educators welcome each new infant with respect and anticipation. They take the time to learn about your child through careful observation and through daily communication with families to understand their unique requirements and routines.

Two to three year olds learn through exploration, investigation and inquiry. These exciting and curious years bring increased independence and more questions.

Our passionate early childhood educators welcome each child with enthusiasm and respect. We know that this age group is curious, energetic and in a growth leap – that’s why we focus on learning about each child and develop a self-paced environment to help them flourish and succeed. We encourage comprehensive, two-way communication to keep you informed with how your child is progressing with and alongside us.

Providing an environment which enables children to flourish as critical thinkers, confident learners and resilient play partners.

Our qualified pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and preschool teachers and educators are committed to working with and alongside your child as they engage with the ever-changing nature of our world. We know children will need a wide range of life skills and an emerging sense of self as they approach their formal school years.

Stay Connected

Xplor Home App.

Harmony is excited to be working with Xplor Education to provide the convenience of an app especially designed for families with children in care. The Xplor ‘Home’ app connects parents and carers to their child’s learning journey and allows for quick and convenient communication with the centre, digital sign-ins and attendance, bookings management and health event tracking.

This one app provides our families with everything they need to manage their Harmony journey and stay connected at every interaction.

Communication with you as a parent/carer is a non-negotiable at Harmony. We want you to stay informed during each step of your child’s experiences, especially in regard to their learning, development and special moments.

View your child’s individual learning journeys and provide educators with updates (Moments) so tailored learning can continue in the centre or home.

  • Live learning documents capture milestones for both educators and families to build upon.
  • Families can comment on shared observations or contact educators directly via Messenger.
  • Your child’s educators can create and share visually appealing learning stories with families.

Families can sign children in and out of Harmony centres quickly and easily with just a few taps on their mobile device.

  • Attendance tracking is secure and encrypted, so your attendance data is accurate and safe.
  • Accurate tracking of which authorised individual dropped off or picked up each child.
  • Families can easily track their children’s attendance or time spent in care, in the Home app.

Families have the flexibility to make payments and bookings while on the go while complying with the new electronic payment of gap fee regulations.

  • View statements and set up preferred payment method (bank transfer, credit card or debit card).
  • View availability and make bookings (including casual bookings) quickly and easily from your mobile device.
  • Never miss a payment with Direct Debit (XPay) and automatic reminders (SMS, email, or notifications).

Constant updates allow parents and carers to effortlessly track their child’s health and safety throughout the day.

  • Receive updates on what your child is eating with nutrition tracking.
  • Be updated with nap times and sleep checks to ensure continuity of care after pick-up.
  • Incident reports and updates quickly shared with families when medicine has been administered.
  • Connection at every interaction ensures no moments are missed throughout the day.
Assistance with Fees
Child Care Subsidy (CCS) Assistance

Affordability varies from family to family, but it doesn’t have to prevent your child from attending a high-quality, holistic centre.

With our designated Child Care Subsidy (CCS) status, our goal is to welcome every child into an environment that’s best for their growth, learning and wellbeing.

The CCS is financial assistance provided by the Commonwealth Government to approved child care centres, family day care schemes, registered carers, outside school hour’s programs and occasional care services. This subsidy is ‘means tested’ and managed by the Family Assistance Office (FAO).

If you receive approval for CCS, you’ll pay less out-of-pocket for child care fees.

To be eligible for the Child Care Subsidy the following requirements must be met:

The Child must

  • be eligible for ‘Family Tax Benefit’ or ‘regular child care’ and
  • be 13 years or under and not attending secondary school and
  • meets immunisation requirements

The person claiming the Child Care Subsidy, or their partner, must

  • meet the residency requirements and
  • meet the Child Care Subsidy activity test ( or be eligible for an exemption) and
  • be liable to pay for the care provided under a Complying Written Arrangement (their written agreement) with their child care provider

There are exemptions for individuals who genuinely cannot meet some eligibility requirements.

To see if you qualify for fee assistance, complete the following:

  • Apply through your local Family Assistance Office (FAO)
  • Call the Family Assistance Office at 13 61 50 or contact Centrelink with any questions
